I was at game so don' t remember how much time left, but did we really have a delay of game before first down after a punt return or fair catch. If so, that is Miles like clock management.

Yep, 25 second playclock and we weren't ready for it

Delay of game penalties have increased like crazy in the past 2 years. It drives me fricking insane and it really speaks volumes about our focus.

It has never been a problem at home though.
I really think we need to run more no-huddle on the road like Denver does. We're getting to the line on the road with under 10 seconds on the clock due to subs and then brees is forced to rush

I think they were expecting a TV timeout and looked completely unprepared.
Also, with a change in possession, shouldn't it be a 40 second clock?

Change in possession is 25 and starts on the whistle

I think the ref put the clock in motion before it should have been. We did not even have time to call a timeout coming up to the line.

CSP was pissed when it happened, they showed him on TV yelling at the ref saying "No way!"

Yeah. refs screwed up the clock. Still, you have to be on that and they probably would have reset it if Drew gave the bump signal before it expired.
