I like it. I think I’ve read that tidal is supposed to have the larger library, but Qobuz has more hires tracks? I’ve had issues with albums not being available on both though.
I think Qobuz has more jazz & classical than tidal, and tidal has more rock?
I’m not sure which one I prefer sound quality wise, or if I can really tell a difference between hires & mqa through my system. Both sound really good to my ears.
For me my biggest issue with tidal is that it’s overpriced IMO. They are still charging 20/mth for hires tier. Qobuz is 13/mth for their hires, or cheaper still at just under 11/mth if you pay for a full year upfront.
I keep going back and forth between companies, and still can’t really make up my mind as to which one I prefer. For me, the significantly cheaper cost at the moment gives the edge to Qobuz.

Yeh Tidal is expensive. I’ve been thinking about the same things. I have a decent setup, but I don’t think it’s decent enough to distinguish the MQA recordings. Generally, if I’m streaming stuff I’m not sitting in front. I’m cooking or doing stuff around the house. I’m more likely to sit if I have the turn table going. Well I guess I’ll sit if I have a concert going, but then again that’s coming through my Apple TV.
I may give Qobuz a try to see. I have to have something other than Spotify b/c my wife isn’t afraid to jack my account when she is with friends or teaching yoga.
So, I guess my next deal would be to make sure which ever way I go will stream Qobuz as well.
