How is the Quboz service? Like I said in the previous post I use Spotify and Tidal. I’ve never tried Quboz.

That being said I think I’ll buy the streamer I’ll get though Music Direct. I just remembered I have a few hundred dollar gift card to them that I’ve had for a couple years. It needs to get used.

So, I guess that puts me at the node (3), possibly that denon and the Cambridge.

I use Qobuz and am quite happy. Phone interface works nice. My account is setup on my NAD M33 so I get album cover and music info on the front screen on the M33.

I like it. I think I’ve read that tidal is supposed to have the larger library, but Qobuz has more hires tracks? I’ve had issues with albums not being available on both though.

I think Qobuz has more jazz & classical than tidal, and tidal has more rock?

I’m not sure which one I prefer sound quality wise, or if I can really tell a difference between hires & mqa through my system. Both sound really good to my ears.

For me my biggest issue with tidal is that it’s overpriced IMO. They are still charging 20/mth for hires tier. Qobuz is 13/mth for their hires, or cheaper still at just under 11/mth if you pay for a full year upfront.

I keep going back and forth between companies, and still can’t really make up my mind as to which one I prefer. For me, the significantly cheaper cost at the moment gives the edge to Qobuz.
