Go with the VPI.
Overture is the real deal--I have been to their store in Delaware. They are a Mac, Focal, Audio Research dealer amongst a few others.

It says they are a close out... Guess maybe vpi is doing away with it? Or changing it up? Cause they are hard to find.

Having trouble buying it... Says $699, but charging me $995. Can't figure it out. Gonna call them tomorrow

Alright Marco.... Spoke with a guy named Dave Masson at overture. Only one they have left at $699 is the floor model. He says everything is guaranteed and full warranty. I asked him about the cart and he said its in perfect working order.
Secondly, he said that he could maybe work out a little something on a brand new one if I decide against the floor model. He couldn't promise it, but said he could try.
What you think?
I looked at the numbers: Carbon/Lehman- approx $760
: nomad floor- $699
: nomad new- $995; if they knock off 20% $796
Not sure... Maybe call back and see what they could do on the new one?
