I've really only been collecting records for about a year probably, and I don't have a lot of disposable income right now, so my collection is probably 40-50 albums are so. I'm being really selective and just getting ones that are important to me until I have more spare cash. Anyway...

The pride of my collection to this point is my numbered (#148) limited edition Mobile Fidelity pressing of Ryan Adams' Love is Hell. Heartbreaker used to be my favorite RA record until I heard this, and it shot straight to the top. I think I've said this before, but if you're into vinyl, you really, really owe it to yourself to pick up MoFi pressings of your favorite records if they're available. I have a few in my collection now and they're far and away, no contest, the best sounding shite I have.

Thats not a bad number for only a year...

I may end up picking that RA record up, though it's expensive for something I already own on disc (granted, as 2 separate EPs)... However, I have been going back and buying a lot of stuff I own on disc, on vinyl... Lots of labels are reissuing stuff these days... I'm not a collector (meaning, I don't have to have first pressings, etc), so thats been nice, so I don't have to get in some bidding war on eBay...

Now that everything comes with a digital download, its the only way I buy music these days... That, plus I have the actual room to keep them..
