I am with you, but for different reasons.
Most teams plays their best game of the year against LSU. I am OK with this part due to recent historical results. It does happen though.
Our own alums, MS and ABM, should use Finebaum as a flyswatter when he starts all of the homer mind-garbage. They don't though.
Every bit of footage showing some other school making a good play shows them doing it against LSU, even if LSU STAIAMP, Then walked it dry.
They always explain why LSU can't, and everyone else can. I do not think this is on purpose, nor do I fall into the "ESPN-SEC hates us" category. I think they do it absent-mindedly, due to the deep seated feeling that we are different, and somehow less than the others, who are more similar.
I am unsure but I think part of your point is that we should build each other up, instead of eating our own.
In the meantime, their opining does carry a little less weight every day.
