really? Give me the amount of time needed to mail out the ballot and have it returned. It is as if you are completely without knowledge of reality. You do realize Oregon is completely poll less?

From someone who lives overseas and already voted, I get my ballot emailed to me and I can check the receipt status of it on the LA SOS site. So your argument here is BS

ow about that THE PEOPLE want it and have shown that by the increase in early voting. Or is that a threat to democracy.

Honestly, link? I'd be interested to see how much voter turnout is increased by how much further we extend early voting.

What is the justification for a week? What reason do you have to limit it to a week? Why did Mitt invest so heavily in early voting mobilization? You do realize historically early voting favors republicans? Hmm. Wonder why they would want to change things now.

Who knows. Maybe costs? You have to admit if you can't find time to vote in 28 days prior to the election, how would adding 1 week help? This argument can be said in reverse as well. At some point though you have to admit, enough days are enough days regardless of which political party it helps

The history of our country is a slow, inexorable march to universal participation. You can continue the fight against it, but like gay marriage, drug reform, etc. you are going to lose.

Honestly please tell me how this is stopping people from voting.
