re: Supreme Court lets Ohio limit early voting

Asking you to show your ID is somehow making it harder to vote? Davis understand why this matters, at least he does now. He is quoted, “Voting the names of the dead, and the nonexistent, and the too-mentally-impaired to function, cancels out the votes of citizens who are exercising their rights — that’s suppression by any light. If you doubt it exists, I don’t; I’ve heard the peddlers of these ballots brag about it, I’ve been asked to provide the funds for it, and I am confident it has changed at least a few close local election results.” Why did Artur Davis come around on voter fraud after he switched parties? Simple. He knows Democrats benefit from voter fraud and he is now a Republican. When it comes to voter fraud and Voter ID, this is all you need to know: Republicans support Voter ID laws because is cuts down on fraud, Democrats oppose them for the same reason. Every single illegal vote cast, costs a legitimate voter his right to vote… That is real voter fraud.
Since there were so many more on the voter rolls it should be easy to find the cheating. Present the people caught in these five counties.

When are you posting the other debate dates for Reagan and Carter?
Facts really are troubling.

I would then ask you why a picture student ID is now not good enough?

I only think white landowner males should vote like our Founding fathers stated in the Constitution.

the process we have now: the endless primaries and multiple debates
Under your system Votes would have been cast well in advance of election changing news. That is the point. There are countless examples of last minute shifts. Chris McDaniel vs Thad Cochran might be the latest. Had the vote taken place 35days in advance, Mississippi's next Senator would be McDaniel.

This isn't in reply to the post I'm linked to, but let's assume NO poll ever changed the leader 35 days out. Are you arguing that no politician ever in the future has the possibility to royally screw up going into the last 35 days? Or change position? Or any number of things that could really change someone's opinion?
Personally, I don't think that's a valid reason to shorten early voting, but to say since it never happened ergo it'll never happen is asinine.
With that said, one reason was actually provided to you earlier as it being unconstitutional. I didn't read the article, but it was stated how all voting must take place on the same day across the nation and that is clearly not the case with early voting.
As for my reasons:
You don't need a longer early voting (costs more right?) to increase voter turnout: Shortened period didn't dampen early voting
Early voting tends to decrease overall voter turnout:
Study: Early voting associated with lower turnout
Voter turnout in US elections not increased by early voting measures
App State Study
quote:
In conclusion, we remain skeptical of those who advocate in favor of early voting reforms primarily on the basis of increased turnout. Both these results, and prior work in political science, simply do not support these claims.

You keep presenting scenarios that have yet to be shown exist or to be problematic.

Cochran: lol. Now you are making the case that such a substantial amount of voters do so early. Get serious. And now you are talking about primaries? Lastly, omg a different republican would have been elected. Lol if you can't see the humor in that, god help you.
Btw, nothing was revealed last minute about McDaniels. You keep trying to point out where something revelatory happened and you fail each time.

More to the point you haven't posted anything that ID was the problem. I've already established that politics exists.

quote:And there's the problem numbnuts. It's too fricking easy to do and get away with. How do you prove something is happening when there are no measures in place to prevent or discover it? Would you like me to go and cast votes for Landrieu using my 2 deceased grandfather's names? They're probably still on the voter rolls.
but you didn't post the people caught.

How curious you chose not to address the main point. Your examples had nothing to do with ID.

Thanks. You keep making my point. Is it your supposition that these people had no IDs or thst they voted under other names. Cause the stories say the exact opposite.

I'm done with you twat. You probably believe in Bigfoot and aliens living amongst us but not voter fraud. Go frick yourself.

The discussion isn't whether their is fraud, I've already mentioned machine politics, politics, Dinesh, etc. the question is how Votrr Id stops someone from voting multiple times. And you have presented case after case of folks with valid IDs that cheated.
