Bump....

People are finally actually changing their perspective of Martin, even though some said he sucks just a few weeks ago.

2014 stats:
- 48 tackles (4th oin the team)

- 2 INTs (tied for 1st)

- 2 Forced fumbles (ties for 1st)

- 7 pass break ups, 9 passes defended (1st in both categories. Collins has 6 PBUs and 6 PD, Tre White has 4 PBUs and 6 PD)

He's been playing solid all year long. Did he struggle last year? Yep. But he also had a lot of things going on. Now, he's playing some pretty good football and is making plays for us. He made plays for us early on in his career,, playing when Loston / Reid was hurt. He's back to that form. And that's huge because Mills has done very little this year outside of the Wisky game. And now Mills is losing PT to Jamal Adams. Adams and Martin is a very good safety duo. And Jefferson has improved a lot these past few weeks as well.

Martin has improved in conjunction with the rest of the defense, so congrats to him.

I still believe that he is our 4th most talented safety behind Mills, Jefferson and Adams, but that is more a comment on the immense talent back there rather than a slight on Martin.

He is looking better. He got too much blame when we were struggling. Don't start giving him too much credit now that we are playing better. I think the same of him as I did 3 weeks ago.

Ronald has been solid. He had a couple of busted plays that stuck out like sore thumbs, but as you said, who hasn't. I think he's very close to being one of the top-shelf SS in the SEC if not already there. Staying healthy has been the key for him. That and playing in his best position
