The usual rule of thumb is you aren't considered a good DD until after 6 years of experience. It took me 5 years to move out the field in LWD, got stuck in Houston, hated it, went to work as a DD. Did 7 years in the US with a smaller company. Jumped ship to Weatherford as a DD V last year and got the bump to the office after 7 months.

How are you liking WI? I seem to here more good about them compared to big red and big blue.
