Valence was one of the worst streets between Freret and where it ends a few blocks towards Claiborne from Freret. That whole area has multiple houses on almost every block being re-done and a lot already finished.

That area was a little warzone, very close to where I grew up. Now, BOOMING... It is a classic case of re-gentrification. A lot like Anacosta in DC.

Did a lot of work on Valence closer to Valencia in years past. I for one hope it all continues, just hope it doesn't price me out.

The last few times I have gone down Valence the street has been lined with construction crews and dumpsters. Good to see
