Pound for pound the best fighter of his era. And he'd do pretty well today.
But he would not beat Mike Tyson in a boxing match. He'd have a chance in a street fight.

Come one, man. You know how legends and rumors grow over time. I am sure there is some truth in some of it, but it all should be taken with a huge grain of salt.
At least if he had fought someone in a martial arts tournament, or any other sanctioned fight, there would be video of it to compare him against others on his level and not just some street scrubs.
But since there isn't all we have to go off of his Hollywood videos and hype and rumors by eyewitnesses.
