Fans have been booing their own teams since the invention of the game. It's not unique to LSU, and it's not going to stop. It's a free country and people are going to do what they please regardless of what many, including me, thinks. You aren't going to stop it by posting on a website.

True, but people booing need to be called out. It's ridiculous.
Voice displeasure in forums, call in shows, letters to the editor, etc. Players have absolutely no way of knowing where this criticism is meant for when it's done within the collective mob.

That's a great response. People have been doing shitty stuff for a long time so lets just ignore it. That's really the best you can come up with?
Booing a 19-20 year old kid who picked to come to LSU over other schools is the action of a D-bag LSU doesn't need as a fan because he is a loser.
