I'm talking about stand alones. 2nd set of tractorbeam at the fox is the best set of 2014 IMO

13:30 of confrontation

Ultimate crew and cities and best shows in 4 years. I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve. Catching the red eye from Alaska to Chicago on Christmas day. That's priorities, baw.
Standalones or not, Very Moon @ Irving, Confrontation @ Holidaze, and Orch Theme by Tractorbeam are my 3 faves of the year.

What are the top 5 shows these dudes have ever done that are readily available? I really liked that 5/27 show. I hadn't heard of them before to be honest but I'm a casual jam band listener at best.

To give you 5 shows and claim they are the best would be impossible. Too much opinion. Too much variety in the choices. Too many different styles.
Depends on what style you're into. Many fans, possibly most, prefer the fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping dance music of 2009. There's a big difference in style between 1999-2001 and 2009. If you're into 2009, here's a tournament of best shows as voted on by dozens of people in a Bisco fan group.
Some of those shows are linked on the first page of this thread or somewhere throughout the thread. If there's a specific show you're looking for, I can try to acquire the download link for you.
9/24/09 was voted as best show of 2009. Here's the link for it: LINK
I also love 4/20/09 LINK
If you want some slower-paced, more typical rock/jamband stuff from previous years, let me know. The albums are good song choices. They're re-mastered live shows, not studio work
1. Rocket 3
- LINK
2. Uncivilized Area
- LINK
3. The Wind at Four to Fly
- LINK
My favorite shows are mostly from 2006:
Camp Bisco V LINK
Baltimore 2006 LINK
Camden 2006 LINK
Philadelphia 12.29.2006 LINK
Boulder, CO 11.19.2006 LINK
IMHO, 2006 is more thematic but less busy.
Also, check out these two:
1. The MVP Jams---All improv; no vocals, no hooks, no choruses... just the free-flowing jams: LINK
2. Best Jams of 2009. The crème de la crème -- LINK
If you don't want to download, but want to continue streaming, simply google "archive disco biscuits [insert date of show here]"
for example:
Googl'ing "archive disco biscuits 4/20/2009" will give you this. Then you can stream or download from archive.org.

In the next 30 days I will compile a list of the 10 best songs of 2014 with links. This year has had some of the best music in a long time. Waiting for Chicago and NYC as I'm sure there will be some amongst those shows that make the cut.
Also, this January, after the New Year's shows, Andre and myself will be embarking on a journey of listening to every show from 2009 in chronological order. I will post the links to those shows, and possibly reviews, in this thread in case anyone would like to follow along.
Don't forget that the archive.org shows are nowhere near as good of quality as the downloads and it would be, IMHO, a crime to listen to much of 2009 in less than sbd quality.
