Is there any prominent American figure who speaks out aggressively against the Muslim's propensity for violence? I can only think of Bill Maher, Hitchens (RIP), Rushdie (the latter two not American obviously). Do any actual elected politicians?
I know that Sarkozy was aggressive in trying to force assimilation better over in France but as far as denouncing the religion itself for what it is there is a huge void.
I should google Marine Le Pen's views. She seems promising.

Mark Steyn
Steyn is not American by birth but has made his permanent residence in the U.S. for quite a while.

It's pretty much career suicide if a politician does it.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a vocal critic, as well as a victim, of Islamic-induced genital mutilation. However, when she tries to speak out on it at universities here, our cowardly PC gestapo shoots her down and chases her out of town for voicing her opinions on a woman's bodily integrity
