Here's my go-to's for LC food.
Darrell's - get the Darrell's special with Jalapeno Mayo. It's their most popular sandwich and one of the best you'll ever eat.
Pronia's - one of the best muffuletta's you can get is here.
Mazen's - Never been but it is supposed to be good
Steamboat Bills - Good Seafood
Seafood Palace - also good seafood
Cousin's - Great Mediterranean food.

L'auberge BR buffet is GREAT best in town.. Friday nite seafood(all you can eat boiled crabs) buffet is off the chart.

Jack Daniels isn't terrible if you go in pre drunk.

Don't do the buffet. Disappointing.

Like others have said, Asia is very good if you like Asian food. Haven't tried Ember yet, but I hear people raving about it all the time. Avoid the buffet..it's shitty (at least it was the last time I went).
Jack Daniel's turns into a nightclub at around 10 or 11pm, loads of good looking trim go there
The poker room has very solid action on the weekends if you're into that kind of thing. Put your name on the waiting list early if you want to play as it gets to ~40-50 deep.

Steakhouse sucks
Don't listen to that red tigress woman or whatever she calls herself
The buffet sucks too
The stadium club sucks too
Quite frankly everything sucks there and it starts with the management. A bunch of dumb fricking people running that Place. I'm talking about you too Ronnie Rantz

This is the correct answer. It's a little loud, but the food is AMAZING! By far the best place to eat in LC.

Do gamble.
Don't lose....too bad. Don't lose too bad.

Dude....ANY semi-decent hotel and casino has "decent food options" so this sounds like it may be a brag thread which is kind of pathetic since you are just going to a casino in Lake Chuck!

Eat and drink at embers.
Enjoy the pool and beach.
Do not eat at Jack Daniels.
Callas is a good option, but not in casino

I like the French cafe there. They have a lobster club that is pretty good

Lake Charles Embers (aka snake river grill) & Baton Rouge 18 steak are not about price value.
Ruth's is incomparably better.
$48 bucks for a little steak and 2 slices of a fingerling potato can leave jimmies rustled.
But they are both fun to blow mad money in with friends.

I'm guessing you and the scale don't get along very well.
