Was playing in the Flatlanders. She didn't recognize him, but was playing some youtube videos of them last night and there he was. Didn't know he played. "Mark it an 8, dude."

That's cool! I can't think of who smokey was.. Obviously not Bridges, goodman, or buschemi... Which character in that movie was smokey? I haven't seen it in a long time.

It's probably my favorite movie but I would probably never in 100 years recognize Smokey if he was just walking down the street.

Met Goodman in real life when I was about 10. I was shooting basketball out in the driveway in front of my grandparents house in Cedarcrest in BR back in the day.

Ole' boy rolls up to me on a bike, drunk as a skunk, drooling.

I stopped shooting and we just kinda stared at each other for a while, then he give some form of inebriated nod and slowly pedals and squeaks away.

It was...odd.

I later discovered he had family who lived around that area years ago. Yes. It was really him.
