Reason #1 People leave early: They pay for their ticket and they can do what they want. Same reason the stadium will be empty tomorrow night and same reason the stadium will be full for Alabama. Pretty simple.

I need a ruling here:
If I can not sell my extra ticket for face value before the game.
Am allowed to leave at half time to go back to the tailgate and have a beer and return for the second half with my other ticket..
Does that make me a loser fan ?

I would allow that. You will be in the stadium the entire game. That is being resourceful.

No, welcome to America, you dumb frick. LSU has something they allow you to watch by selling you a ticket to a seat. If they don't want you there because you are a terrible chicken little fan, they can choose not to take your money.
Confiscating/not reselling tickets to bad fans makes some sense. The students have strict ticket/attendance guidelines. Why shouldn't season ticket holders? But since LSU already has enough issues with you terrible fans abandoning the team, making things stricter would most likely backfire.

The coaching staff and players might care about people leaving early but the university could give 2 shits...they got your money and that's all they care about. Its your choice if you choose to stay but why spend thousands on tickets to something you don't stay to watch? I understand if we are killing the other team or they are killing us but if you don't plan on watching and being a real fan then give up your seats
