Lardo - good sandwiches.

My wife and I just went to Oregon to visit the coast and wine country. We spent one night in Portland and ate lunch at Lardo's before heading to the coast, I thought it was great.

I had a pork belly gyro that was excellent, and my wife got a Pho'rench Dip (instead of au jus to dip in, it used Pho broth) that she said ws awesome, but the best thing may have been the fries that had scraps of pork, various peppers, and cheese

For lunch - Food trucks

There were so many food trucks that looked good in that block where they all are; I wish we had had time before cat5ching our return flight to try them out.

If you're like me, you saw this and HAD to have it...

I've heard more than one person say that the burger there is as good as it gets. They don't have a huge menu, but everything I've had there was awesome.

I've heard their barbequed bologna sandwich is awesome.

They have a pretty decent tap list for a converted food truck...

You must have been at the food truck pod on Alder. That's only a fraction of all of the food trucks in the city, but that's the biggest one, with over 60 food trucks in one location.
