This is the first time I've ever watched The Voice from the start. What happens when judges start filling up their teams of 8? Are their only three, then two, then one potential chair(s) that can turn? Theoretically, a judge could be super picky and make the auditions drag on forever, huh?

That's pretty much how it works. They probably edit even more as the teams fill up. They don't show all the blinds, anyway, I don't believe.
