I have a concept that I want to develop into a web-based organizational program. It's designed for - lack of a better word - membershipship organizations. Some of the features include:
ADMINISTRATIVE ESSENTIALS (Registrations, Membership Management)
COMMUNICATIONS (Email Marketing, Blog, etc)
DEDICATED GROUPS & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
CHECK-IN SYSTEMS
ONLINE DONATIONS
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT
EVENT MANAGEMENT & SCHEDULING
MULTI-SITE MANAGEMENT
ACCOUNTING (Similar features to Quick Books... Billing; Payments; Credit Card Processing, etc)
Where would be a good place to start for a project like this?

Not sure where you are but, if you Google "software Baton Rouge" you will get several companies in the Baton Rouge area. Or, you can be an unpatriotic terrorist and outsource it to China or India and have several back doors built in where eventually people's credit card info is acquired and sold on the black market. Choose wisely my friend, Guantanamo sucks...

Build it on Force, but you are way late. Bkackbaud owns the Cloud and on premise markets.

Call these guys and see if they'll private label their product for you.

Immense Networks in Baton Rouge is probably capable of building your stuff like you want. I've found them to be the best in BR. Technology Engineers so nice work, too, but I think the better product and more knowledgable staff is at IN.
