I didn't start this thread to have a rehash of the usual same sex marriage debate.


I just wanted to point out that in a recent Pew poll the support for same sex marriage has dropped which some supporters of same sex marriage at this site said would never happen.


If you want to have the usual same sex marriage debate then start your own thread about it.

So those in favor of legal recognition for gay couples, according to this survey of 2,002 adults, is at 49% while those against is at 41%.

Just this past May Gallop had a poll showing record highs of those in favor. This is a non story. Besides, we don't have a constitution just to follow public opinion polls.
