Did anyone else besides me watch the pilot episode last night? I thought it was pretty good. Tea Leoni is a MILF. I think I'll give the show a shot.

Looks like Hilary Clinton: The Series. No thanks.

It must suck to not be able to separate silly political issues from entertainment.
Show has absolutely nothing to do, or is anything like HC.

and tea is way more attractive.

That's where the show is headed already, woman for president.

It just looks like the type of show that's gonna shove its political message down your throat. The West Wing with a woman basically.

Like the people I hear not watching VEEP because of politics.
You're missing out.
Going to give this one a watch this week.

So it looks like one of the best TV shows of all time?
Hopefully.

The West Wing was some outstanding television. Did you mean to pay this show a compliment?

I did not hear the word "Democrat" or the word "Republican" mentioned once in last night's episode. It's actually more of a political thriller than a political drama. The circumstances regarding how Tea Leoni's character became Secretary of State are very suspicious and, with the ending to last night's episode, it looks like a massive conspiracy exists within the CIA and U.S. government.

I get enough indigestion listening to real politicians to watch a show about one. The closer I pay attention the more I'm convinced politicians are villainous charlatans masquerading as public servants. Thanks for the insight but I'll take a pass.

Suit yourself. I can't help it if you can't separate entertainment from reality.

I wasn't planning on watching it. I hung after 60 Minutes, and I was surprised. It was pretty good. The cast is good and it has potential.

I'm suspicious of network political shows. If its more about CIA spy drama stuff then I may check it out.

That's the route the show seems to be taking thus far. Tea Leoni's character is a former CIA agent and there seems to be a conspiracy brewing on the show which involves the CIA and the highest levels of government.

Plus, she is hot. So it has that going for it.
