re: What's an appropriate suit for a 15 year old?

Navy or Charcoal are very good choices and will work with anything. I would get him some black shoes. Brown shoes work with sport coats or blazers and slacks. A suit should be with black shoes. No black suit. I have a black blazer I wear with different slacks and I have black slacks I wear with different blazers but not together. And pinstripes in either charcoal or navy is fine. All of the above was in style in 1950 and is is style in 2014 and will be in style in 2030. Is just classis menswear. I have black Allen Edmonds I wear that I bought in 1979.
