Mathieu was in 12th grade when LF was in 8th, however, TM is just 2 yrs and 5 months older than LF. Mathieu 22 and LF turning 20 in Jan. Since they were 4 grades apart people think there was a big age difference and that is where the confusion comes from, I guess.

LF is already the same age as TM7 when he entered the draft and that is important for a RB.

But LF is/was no kid when they went to St. Aug and he is no kid now, understandably LF is a in a hurry to get to the NFL, get some money to his Mom and Dad, and get them moved to a safer neighborhood and be able to put their feet up.

RBs in the NFL peak at age 23, just when he will be getting there. As Adrian Peterson says NFL stands for Not For Long, especially for RBs whose stock has fallen. Rookie contracts are for 4 yrs, 5 yrs if you are first round. Because of the NFLPA player bargaining agreement LF will be 26 or 27 when/if his big payday comes. He needs to play for a good owner like PP7 and TM7 so he gets an early contract renegotiation.
