i can't imagine the lies they'd have to tell to try to convince people that this is even possible at this point. The only thing that will save the Dems in November is going to be derailing individual elections. Republican candidates are going to have to die, not get on the ballet due to Tea Party candidates, or be forced out of the race due to crazy scandals.

I don't think there is really anything that Obama can do to gain votes. In fact, I would imagine that most Democrats in tight elections are going to request that Obama stay away, not endorse, and let them run against some of his stupidity.
