I have been to several games but my girlfriend has never been. With moo state supposedly being good this year i figured this would be a good game for her first. Only problem is my normal tailgating crew is going to the Alabama/Florida game so I am in need of someone to help me out please and help show my girl a great first time game. Also if someone could direct me to a rundown of the days events. Would greatly appreciate any help.

TL;DR
Girlfriends first game

Note to self. Read Dandy Dons first thing every morning. All times and listings can be found there without asking a bunch of tards.

Thank you. First time I'm going where I'm the one that knows the most about when stuff is happening.

Sadly my first game in Tiger Stadium was the last time State beat LSU in Baton Rouge.

Hoping thats not the same for her. My first LSU game was the triple OT loss to Arkansas.

Same here, my wife is a UGA grad, she was required to convert to be a part of the family and I must say she's done a great job. We will be at the game sitting on row one on the 35.

Is there any tigerdroppings tail gates that can be visited. I want her to get the whole game day vibe and show how much better it is than UGA's.

If you don't get any decent advice here, swing by our tailgate. Indian mounds. Purple and gold tents. Washerboard. Big speakers. Jambalaya pot, loud music. Beer pong.

Is that the one where we stopped them on 4th and goal but the refs called it a TD?

No tigerbh, that was the one in 1999 you are thinking about. It was in Starkville. Horrible call.

I'm in the same boat! None of my regular groups are come down this weekend (frickin traitors!!.. ).
I'm coming to the game with 3 State fans who have never been to TS and want the full experience. I know there have got to be some "pay" tailgates organized by various groups....but am looking for a few places to come and hang out for a bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

That's all I'm asking. We don't wanna just mooch off someone. We will gladly contribute to where ever we wind up. Just need a spot to sit during the day and get some awesome food!!!

It's really not that hard. Sounds like you don't have a parking pass. Are you setting up a tailgate? If so I would hang there for a little while and then just walk around.Go to a tailgate and introduce yourself. If you try to give her some great experience it's just gonna be a disappointment because you'll keep going from place to place.
