Can someone please explain why we are the away team today. I know it's back to single elimination but coming out of the winners bracket shouldn't we be home or does it default to highest seed is home?

I have been to several games but my girlfriend has never been. With moo state supposedly being good this year i figured this would be a good game for her first. Only problem is my normal tailgating crew is going to the Alabama/Florida game so I am in need of someone to help me out please and help show my girl a great first time game. Also if someone could direct me to a rundown of the days events. Would greatly appreciate any help.
