The compliments are usually from females, my guy friends mostly think they look "gay", but they aren't known to have fashion sense.
That picture looks ridiculous bow ties, really?
ETA: also, I've stated before in this thread. I'm no "frat star".

Says who? I didn't know there was a certain length of how they are "supposed" to be. It's all based on personal preference; that's why they offer different inseam length.
I say those are too short. Should be an inch or two above the knee imo.

Your guy friends are correct. If I wore those things my friends (male and female) would abandon me and think I had turned homo. I find that the only ones who think they look good are the college-aged/early 20ish crowd. When I'm out with my friends (in their 30s) and we drive through campus or are out at bars/restaurants and they see guys dressed like that, they are unanimous in saying how ridiculous they look. Especially the ones wearing all of that plus a pair of black socks. All of those guys look like they come off a cookie-cutter assembly line, no originality at all.
Oh well, I'm done here... carry on

I don't wear cargos. Gave that look up about 5 years ago. Don't wear chubbies, either.

I love the continued hate for tattoos on this board.

Me too. I'm glad I'm not the only person alive who hates tattoos.
Posted on 9/18/14 at 5:56 pm to bosoxjo13
would really prefer the tats to continue. it's like a cold war between fraggots and hipsters with tats.
the fraggots are getting more and more homo by the month and the hipsters are getting (often hilariously) irreversibly inked.

I'm not a big fan of either, but I'd rather get a tat than dress like those guys in the pics I posted.

Seriously? That bow tie thing they had going on looked hideous. But could be changed rather easily. A tattoo is markedly harder to remove than a bow tie.

I don't mind bow ties at all, if worn properly. The shorts are what kills me.
