Honestly, it would be FAR less awesome if I found out it was a work. No way IMO.

This thread reminds me of how awesome the Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows documentary is.

also reminds me of Owen, Bulldog and Flyin Brian

the WCW fall was an inside job. Even Eric bischoff said he they let him buy WCW it would have been for a lot more than what Vince bought it for.
Bischoff talks a lot of shite. Some of it is factual, some of it not.
The Fuscient offer that Bischoff put together may have been for more total money than Vince paid, but it was being done in installments rather than a lump sum and would have required Turner Broadcasting to keep Nitro and Thunder on the air while they were getting money from the sale.
Considering that Time-Warner wanted to get WCW off its books completely, selling to Vince for pennies on the dollar in a cash sale was a better option than selling to Fuscient on an installment plan.
You can debate the merits of Turner Broadcasting executive Jamie Kellner canceling Nitro and Thunder during the middle of all this, but him doing so ensured that Vince McMahon was the only person who would be seriously interested in purchasing WCW.
Kellner's decision wasn't tied to Vince or any conspiracy, as he'd had a history of canceling successful shows in other programming jobs because he didn't like that show and wanted to push his own pet projects instead.

Honky Tonk Man has talked about how lucky that documentary crew was to stumble into the Montreal Screwjob.
They had been covering Bret for about 6 months at that point to make their film and, if not for Montreal, he feels they wouldn't have had much material to work with because of how bland and boring Bret is.

I agree with that. Was it him and bulldog that were both tagging sunny as well as hbk and Chris candido? When Jericho found out how much Vince bought wow for he was pretty upset because he could have bought it as well. Btw does anyone think Russo was a great writer and booker?

Bret wasn't hitting that.
Actually, SHAWN was hitting that and had proposed to her while she was "on a break" from Candido. When she turned him down to go back to Candido, he and the Clique started in on her with lots of bullshite and was probably the catalyst for the "Sunny Days" comment.

As Jim Cornette has put it, Russo may have come up with tons of stuff at a time when the WWE needed it, but it had to be put through a filter in order to pick out the things that were good and throw out the trash.
Russo left to his own devices in WCW and TNA shows the quality he had without Vince et all over him.

Good points. I bet Ron Simmons gave sunny the bbc

Wasn't a work, and I would have done the same thing Vince did. No way would I risk Bret showing up to WCW with the WWE belt.

I'd heard at least one rumor that Sunny got the big black cock from Ahmed Johnson one night in exchange for coke and that it was gone by the time she got back to Candido.

I've heard that rumor too just couldn't remember if it was Ron or Ahmed. Ahmed got fat when he was in wcw

When I was a kid , I really thought Norman Smiley & Warren Moon were the same person.

Based on my conversations with people inside the business, as well as with His father Stu and two of his brothers.

In his shoot video Ahmed admits that he never smashed Sunny. However, it's common knowledge that she was banging Shawn while she was with Chris, and she admits to having sex with Davey as well. She was a serious pill popper and continues to be a scammer and con artist to this day. I saw her at Wrestlecon and she was big as a house.

Say what you want about sunny.
In the 90's she helped sell more lotion than dry skin.
Always put her >>> sable as far as looks went. If I were Shawn I wouldn't have hesitated either. I don't think Hart was hitting it, Shawn seemed high, insecure and jealous a lot back then over more than just sunny.

Yeah hbk was very insecure. I still wonder about the whe story with him gwtting jumped at a bar or wherever it was. Damn I was hoping the story with Ahmed was true. man davey was lucky smashing sunny and Diana. I actually his wife was attractive during those days against Shawn.

I think his story was a few marines roughed him up, I've heard other accounts say it was a 1 on 1 fight which Shawn lost.
Posted on 9/18/14 at 4:15 pm to SEClint
Around 96-97, Sunny was one of the hottest women on the planet, no doubt about it. I saw behind her at the Cajundome (I had front row and she came out as a guest timekeeper) and I was in awe. Sad to see how far downhill she's gone.

The truth of the matter (which I've heard from some very reliable sources) was that Shawn was high on pills and booze, as were the others who were there. Shawn was making advances towards one of the marine's girlfriend/wife and was called out. The marines proceeded to beat his bitch arse and his buddies were so fricked up that there was really nothing they could do about it.
Shawn is without question one of the all-time greatest showmen and in-ring workers, but he's also undoubtedly the biggest douchebag in the history of the business.
