Beretta cx4 9mm carbine

With 9mm ammo being as cheap as .22 ammo nowadays it sure seems like it would be a top choice for a plinking gun.

Have you considered an AK? The price of ammo is nearly identical, and you would actually have a rifle that shoots a much superior cartridge.

If you wanted something softer shooting you could always buy one chambered in 5.45x39.

Cabala's in Gonzales was loaded down with .22 ammo today. Could take you pick of Remington, Winchester and federal bulk packs. I chose the federal.

My dad has the CX4 in .45 ACP and loves it. Fun gun and shots pretty damn well too. For under $600, I would pick one up if you are interested.

WTF? looks like something off of Star Wars.

$545 vs. $175-200 for a Ruger 10/22. Go with the Ruger for plinking. You can't plink with a 9mm.

If you're looking for a 9mm carbine to plink with you should save $300 and buy a Hi Point 995

Hate on HP pistols all day, but their carbines have a good reputation. HP also has lifetime warranties

9mm costs 2.5-3 times what .22lr costs per round from my recent research.
