Btw, is there any estimate out there as to how much Williams has made? He HAD to make a killing while on Tigers bag.

Just looked it up... Holy shite

quote:

Steve Williams is a caddy with a net worth of $20 million. Steve Williams has accumulated his net worth as the caddy for many professional golfers. He began caddying at the early age of six and has made a successful career caddying for professionals like Tiger Woods and the Austrailian Golfer Peter Thomson. He was born in Wellington, New Zealand. In 2011 Steve Williams was fired by Tiger Woods after working together from 1999-2011.

Steve Williams Salary

Most caddie's earn a standard salary of 5% of whatever the pro makes in tournament play plus a weekly salary however since Steve Williams was caddie for the most successful golfer of all time, that percentage was increased to 15%. In most years Williams earned more money as a caddy than most of the professional tournament players. In 2007 he earned $1.4 million in commission alone which would put him the top 75 of PGA earners for the year. Williams also earned money though endorsements, and gifts from Tiger.

I would love for Ted Scott to leave Bubba and go get on Scott's bag.

Steve was on salary with a bonus at the end of the year. He didn't get 12,8,6. And his bonus wouldn't have been 15% of tigers earnings
