LOL! I work over there in that run down shithole every Monday and Tuesday.
My condolences. I lived in in Va. Beach from mid-06 until the beginning of 07. Va. Beach is okay during the summer (tourist season), but it's straight up Navy town from the day after labor day until the beginning of May. Norfolk is even worse. I hated Hampton Roads.

I think Rex lives in Va Beach. He may have some recommendations for the Hampton Roads area.
Are you advocating taking advice from Rex?

Thanks for all the help, guys. I was excited about going to Norfolk but now it sounds like a real shite hole. At least it will be a shite hole with some chicken wings!

There are a ton of good sports bars in Richmond. I used to love watching games at Home Team grill on W Main.

I live in the FAMILY ORIENTED village of Chester in which there is nothing and it is 30 miles from there. I am not driving that far. The thing is people here are like people in Maryland in that they don't care about football. It is basketball, lacrosse, soccer, etc. SUCKS!!! Get me back to the SOUTH!

I thought that was that yankee from Boston, named Nick Cattles? I have eaten lunch there a couple of times and it is in a old department store in a strip mall. $5 pizza buffet...it really looks more like a night club instead of a sports bar. Anytime I see a DJ booth I avoid it after happy hour.
