Give him 1k immediately upon graduation. Load his crappy car and tell him he's driving solo to Colorado. Essentially disown him. Refuse to take his calls, turn his boyhood bedroom into current multiple-personality bunny-boiler wife's closet and tell him he is unwelcome, forevermore. Be as shitty to him as you can be. It worked for me.
