We actually were engaged at one point. Then broke up and got back together...but never got engaged again.
But...he admitted he never wanted to marry me and only asked to buy more time with me. I finally got him to admit this to me when I left him.

I'm sure you don't keep in contact with him anymore, but do you know if he is married or otherwise with anyone else? Just being nosy
