Any posters live in this subdivision? If so, how do you like it?
There seems to be a lot of homes being put up for sale in the subdivision as of late. I know the homes are relatively new...is there a reason for the mass exodus? Home quality?
TIA

Where is that located exactly?

Off Pecue?
I have some relatives that live there. They built in there during one of the earlier phases. It's a nice, newer area and people seem to take pride in their homes.

I lived there for a few years. I think with the hospital built right next door property value has increased. Many people (like myself) bought low and sold high. Many doctors and nurses are now living in the subdivision.
All-in-all, nice neighborhood - no real crime. Everything was good.

White flight - did the first black family move into the neighborhood?
I saw this a lot growing up in the Monticello/Park Forest area.
A black family would move in, and 6 houses near it would go up for sale the next week.

Cool...Thanks for the info.

Woodbridge is nice. Near hospital. Has long-term property value appreciation potential.

This exact same thing happened in Monticello. What's to say it isn't happening in Woodridge as well?

It's one of the symptoms of stupidity.

I don't see anything racist in my post. Maybe you're looking for it?
We didn't drink that Koolaid and move to Denham, so

Woodbridge is not Monticello.
I don't live in Woodridge but it is a nice place.

I know for a fact that a black family lives there and the neighbors haven't moved.

yep, the world is a much different place than it was in the 1980's.

Woodbridge is not Monticello.
Wonder what made it turn to complete %100 black population in about a 5 year period?

Every time a black family moved into Monticello, all the whites around them sold their houses.
I watched it happen in Monticello, Park Forest, and Shamrock Gardens.
Many of my friends moved to Central, Zachary, and Denham in my middle school years.
I don't understand how my simple observation suddenly labeled me as a racist.
I didn't own a house in my teens

It's not 100% black. Not according to city-data.com at least.

Houses and yards are way to small for the price. PPsqft is ridiculous, HOA is a PIA, and little amenities.
We passed hard after looking at a few houses there.
Go across to Jamestown, much nicer.

Just an observation from someone who drives by there quite often.
