I believe the offense will be exposed to better than average defensive teams. Hopefully it will develop a lot more in the next two weeks.

The first two games the offensive wasn't so deliberately slow. It was obvious they wanted to work on the running game from the start with 2 straight runs leaving the offense in 3rd and 10 on the first two possessions. Maybe this was done for Porter, I don't know. However, in the 2nd half, everything was up tempo which works better for this personnel. We're only in trouble if we decide to play a style this team does not respond well to. In the second half when the team went up tempo, the scoring and yardage started coming more fluidly even while running the ball more deliberately.

I think we only play one of those this year (reg. season).
