Threads like this are great because we get to criticize no particular person, only the caricature of some mythical feminist.

Feminists are ok with Muslim female oppression? Absolutely not.

Feminists are against stay at home mons? Nope. Feminists support a woman's right to choose her path.

Feminists are lonely bitter women? Again I submit the vast majority of smart able high-achieving women, like the HLS class of 2017, are feminists.

And if you are a woman and hate feminists, good for you but don't expect to get more than boner jokes out of this crowd.

This may be true among some feminists, but they have done a very poor job of making that point. It seems feminism is more fixated on power and perceived inequality. Most feminist opinion I've seen has been against stay at home moms because of financial independence

New York City attorney and author Elizabeth Wurtzel makes a number of provocative arguments about feminism, class and politics that denigrate stay-at-home moms. Its title, "1% Wives Are Helping Kill Feminism and Make the War on Women Possible," along with its subhed, "being a mother isn't a real job -- and the men who run the world know it," sum up parts of the piece, and its arguments go even farther.

Oh really? They've not done one thing to bring world wide or even national attention and pressure to the brutal treatment of women. And when someone such as Ayaan Hris Ali tries to speak, they join the usual suspects in having her banned, such as at Brandeis, and tried the same thing at Yale.

As a matter of fact it's been Laura Bush and other conservative women who have been the most vocal and active supporter of women oppressed by Islam.

This, and their support of misogynist Leftist men is the reason I dislike them. Because those stands have the potential to affect me. I also don't like their victim mentality because it cheapens what my incredibly successful daughter has done. On her own.

Wrong. Feminists are confronted with a choice between feminism (FGM is not OK) and multiculturalism (we cannot condemn 3rd world practices).

Feminists are hypocrites. They won't answer the question.
