I wondered if there would ever be another Bubonic plague. I guess there's still a chance.

no it is spread too slow. It is in an area of the world with millions of ppl and has only infected around 5,000 ppl. Bubonic plague infected and killed 50% of the population in some cases. Plus plague was spread by flea bites and Ebola is spread by contact with fluids.
