I agree. Mines acrylic.
Id recommend against a bow front as well. Mines a bow front and it's a lot harder to clean the acrylic on the curve. Regular tank is way easier.

I personally perfer a starphire glass tank. Will make the colors in the tank come out more and if you scratch your tank on a acrylic tank it will show up alot more than on a glass tank. I can promise you that you will scratch your tank no matter how much you baby it.
