Here's one TX - the average price of gasoline in the U.S. was $1.53 on September 11, 2001.

Now it is about $3.42.

So, I'm just asking - who might have lost a recent high profile election the year before, and believed that higher gasoline prices might be good for the environment?


Hmm. What if I told you this person had (and continues to have) many high profile friends and associates in government?

I'm just following the money and asking questions...
