I don't know. I wasn't there. Perhaps it registered that he was firing at him and he didn't want to get shot, so he stopped running and put his hands up. Perhaps he lowered his head after getting shot somewhere else as a reaction to that shot.
Who knows. I'm skeptical of these witnesses, just like I was all of them. Just as I was of Wilson's version of events. But these witnesses do seem to corroborate some of the other witnesses. And the key point will probably never be corroborated - did Brown go for Wilson's gun?
