My thoughts about the ISIS conflict and how Obama should handle it

You can’t defeat ISIS if they have the support and funding of the major Sunni states. Winning in that case is just not possible, unless we are ready to exterminate 20 million Sunni’s or other religious groups in Iraq. That's a war of religious extermination.
I believe that the Sunni states, at least the rulers are willing to cooperate, if in return they get some assurance that somehow Asad be removed and the ensuing so-called, democracy in Syria will lead to a majority sunni state, opposite to the one in Iraq...so it's actually the same issue in both countries.
The best outcome for Syria is a future regime just like the Sissi’s of Egypt.
very complicated religious war.
How do you see it?

So we get out of a ground war against ISIS, cause Sunnis will fight, and in trade, we fight a ground war in Syria? Cause that is what it would take right?

Obama and his entire administration are not capable of "handling" this current issue. History has proved this time after time after time with this bunch. The outcome is not going to be favorable with this group leading the free world, IMO.

I'm torn. If 25% of what we see/hear about ISIS is accurate, they need to be wiped off of the face of the Earth.
Having said that, I don't think we can do it in this day and age. Our enemies have learned to exploit our aversion to collateral damage. They will not make themselves available as targets for large scale bombings. We won't be able to effectively destroy them from the air. We are not going to put a large ground force in and even if we did, same thing.

Either fight it to win it, ie, a massive bombing campaign that levels entire cities disregarding collateral damage, or don't fight at all.
The only rational way to approach war, IMO. This limited war stuff is insane.

25 B 52s, bomb Syria, Iran and Iraq until it is as flat as La.
