1. Yes... Especially about the special teams part. If you're a guy fighting for a roster spot, teams would rather like to have a versatile player that can contribute in a lot of diff ways over a player that can only do 1 thing. How much work a RB has in college isn't a major thing to the NFL IMO... As long as that RB has been and is healthy / injury free. Bishop Sankey was the #1 RB taken this last draft and he had over 700 touches in 3 years. They def look at it... But don't think they would pass on a really good and healthy RB just because of his touches in college.

2. Not with the big named guys IMO. If you're a stud RB, we will offer you regardless if you can play special teams or not. But with a smaller recruit, like Alfred Blue, it def helps if you can contribute in diff ways. But that goes for a lot of guys who are on the bubble of earning an offer from us. Not every guy you give a scholarship contributes at all. But you want as many to contribute as possible.
