oil base gloss or semi on the woodwork because it flows out to a nice shine, and holds up much better than latex
latex flat on the walls if you won't be getting hand prints on them. semi-gloss latex can be cleaned, but touch-ups won't blend. Flat can't be cleaned very well, but touches up nicely

This as well. But oil based paint is harder to get now due to VOC restrictions.
