Do I just need to call a "vision" shop? Are there "doctors" there who can write prescriptions?
I haven't EVER had to deal with ANYTHING vision related my entire life.
(Other than to make fun of kids in grade school)

Yea go to an eye clinic and tell them you're a noob.
Americas best is cheap af. It's where most uninsured folks go.
The one my insurance covers is fricking sick. Top of the line stuff and all the newest glasses styles, contact brands etc..

Yes. Call the Eye Dr. You'll look thru a lens, and he will give you a script. I always refuse the dilation. F that noise. I always buy my contacts at the Dr.

They do tests to measure your prescription and whatnot at an eyecare place. You'll get glasses at the place but you can get your contacts off 1-800-CONTACTS and the like once you have a script (you have to enter the glasses place's info so they can verify the script - at least in my experience).
Hence why next month I'm getting PRK, screw all this.
