The fact is the Pac-12 refused to consider Brigham Young because of the no games on sunday issue. Their lack of research and the religion parts were factors but the inability to schedule non-football on sundays was the major impact at ignoring them when the Pac 12 wanted to expand.

also the fact that they bring nothing to the table since Utah is already in the conference. It was clear in '11 then OU and OSU couldn't come by themselves that it is Tejas or no expansion for the Pac.
