hey I'm also interested in that too...its why I read this board. I'm just not seeing how making it a competition at all ( and some people do take it seriously) is legitimate at all without being able to taste the final product.

Creativity and plating is plenty enough reason to vote. We don't have to taste it. People watch Chopped. It's a very successful show and we can't taste the dishes. I love reading what people did and how they came up with the dishes they make.
