Why not? I've used nothing but since literally 2004, not one single issue with bait caster or spinning reels. Went fishing with Chad Dufrene in 2004 and got tired of him casting twenty feet farther, and watched him boat flip a friggin 10lb redfish. Started using power pro that day.
