If the guy driving the car would have said that he did see the bike but thought he had time to make the turn then there is a very high probability that he wouldn't have been found guilty of anything. There's a good chance that even seeing the bike, the driver of the car would have made the turn due to not being able to judge 100mph bike coming and thinking he had time to turn. Speed is the deciding factor here but the fact that the car driver said he didn't see him automatically assigns him some guilt.
